A Note From Cassandra + Meet the Team!

Congratulation on your engagement and on finding Mt. Hood Organic Farms! It has been my pleasure to work at the Farm for almost a decade now, coordinating weddings and helping in the planning process. My Co- Coordinator, Kristen,  joined my team several years ago and together, we strive to be the very best in our field, creating a professional and fun experience.

We have carefully put together a wedding planning packet which is full of great resources to help steer you in a good direction on your planning path! Please find it under the Wedding Packet section.

We offer one Basic Day Of Coordinating package. The main function of this package is help direct you through your planning, coordination of your vendors the day of as well as timeline management during the event. Included in this cost is a series of planning meetings. I will be the main point of contact,  handling all the email questions and holding the meetings. Kristen functions as the the Lead Coordinator for most weddings, running the timeline and keeping all the vendors informed and on track. The initial planning meetings are held January and February. At this meeting, we will share general ideas and I will give recommendations on vendors I feel meet your needs and style. I will help you prioritize duties and keep you on task with the planning and details. We then meet in the spring at the Farm for a Site Visit. This is a group meeting where we tour the Farm and discuss the set up and  flow of your wedding day. A local winery pours wine, a local brewery pours beers and Cultivate Catering makes a sampling of appetizers. Kristen, Ginger, Brady and I are all on site to answer any questions. Our final meeting is a few weeks before your wedding day. We will finalize the set up details and discuss the ceremony details. At this time we will also create a “day of timeline” to help keep the day on track. My team will be on site all day to facilitate the set up and break down of the event and the decor. I am available anytime to answer questions by email, I’m here to help!

The Friday before your wedding is when we will hold your ceremony rehearsal. We allot 1 hour to rehearse the ceremony and check in any decor you are bringing. A Lead Coordinator is then on site the entire wedding day to direct vendors, facilitate the set up and keep everything on track.

An additional assistant is needed for the DIY bride, large weddings and ones with a lot of details. If you are not having many vendors to do the setting up of your decor, we can! If you are arranging your own flowers, having friends bake some pies, making playlist for and ipod, etc… I will be the one who know where it all goes and when to press play. The additional assistant is also suitable for larger weddings of 120 or more guests, where there are more logistics and vendors involved.
